Welcome to the

YMCA of El Paso

The YMCA of El Paso strengthens the foundations of our community through well-being and fitness, camps, family time, swim, sports and play, and other activities for people of all ages, incomes and abilities. We’re more than just a place to work out. At the Y, we help build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all with the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility at the heart of everything we do.

With a commitment to nurturing youth development, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility, the Y ensures that every individual has access to the essentials needed to learn, grow and thrive.

After School

Once children reach school age, multiple influences enter their lives. YMCA After School ensures that the time out of school is occupied creatively and constructively. Our child care program provides you the opportunity to work with the peace of mind knowing that your child is being cared for in a safe, nurturing and structured environment.

  • Grades K-5 or K-6 depending on the school location (child must be at least 5 years old).
  • Fees include teacher in-service and early dismissal days.
  • After School hours are provided from school dismissal until 6:00 pm.

This program is fully licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and meets all licensing and safety standards. All staff are well-trained in the care of school age children, and are First Aid and CPR certified.
